Philippians 4:6 ‘ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’ NKJV. I remember reading this verse of scripture earlier this year and it was as if a light bulb lit up in my head. ‘So why have I been anxious all these years?’ I thought 'if my life is in alignment with God’s will and I have thanked God genuinely from my heart and made my request known to him I need to trust that God is in control'.
